space bound

dear daisy,

the most intriguing and exciting thing about space travel is the possibility to cross boundary and to be the frontier of interstellar human species.  some people are genetically programmed to leave some people behind. it requires a strong mental attitude and tenacity to work under constant pressure and in the dangerous realm that could be life threatening. it is selfish-unselfish heart-mind-body and soul coordination that will determine the success of space exploration. human are interesting creature. anthropological evidence showed that we migrated across the oceana some hundred thousands long years ago before the establishment of scientific knowledge.

the idea of living among the stars is so mesmerizing that even stephen hawking thinks that we should find another planet to migrate in 200 years or risk becoming extinct.

and even if we are capable to go the distance, how will we solve the fact that human life is - fragile and mortal. will our cells and metabolism bound to the space theory of relativity? perhaps there are needs of modification in human to enable them to become an interplanetary species - like was envisioned by technologist tycoon, elon musk.

the science of frankenstein is no longer a fiction. we are entering the time of modern prometheus.

but before we go too far on space travel, we have to deal with the problems with aging populations on earth. the reason is rather fundamental, because our life span is short compared to the length of time to travel to another habitable planet. to overcome this, it is necessary to address the problems with aging population. biological effects on human physical activities such as breathing, blood flow and physical exercise, regulate variety of biological processes that over time can be very discriminatory and damaging to organ structural integrity.

there is a need to establish a strong relationship between scientists, engineers and medical professionals. it is also equally important to address the role of scientific bodies, academia and good governance to support research and development in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

eid mubarak to my beloved family and friends. i miss home so much and i don't think that i am programmed in such a way to forget all the beautiful things on earth, especially this auspicious date.

many told me to stay focus while aiming at the moon, because star gazing can be both mystifying and distracting.

we are not merely speck of dust floating in the ripples between the fabric of space and time. perhaps, by contemplating at constellations, it may open one's heart and mind to seek for the answer in the creation of the universe.
