letter to my nieces and nephews. industrial revolution 4.0

my darling nieces and nephews,

you are amazing, brilliant, divine and possessed unique gifts that just waiting to be discovered. i am enthralled by your exquisite minds, brilliant thoughts, immaculate sense of understanding and kindness to others. in other words, you are fun and your senses of stupidity are just part of growing up and for me to raise voice and be reasoned.

i am sorry that as adults, we over amped you with english, art, music and math classes. we directly believe in positive thoughts and approaches to motivate our children with our own virtues and values to make up our perfect envision of "future successful CEO".

the society always expect that kids should be all-rounder with immaculate qualities in cognitive skills like arts and linguistics, sports, intellectual and emotional intelligence. we always thought that we know best, although in reality, we don't actually know what is best and good for this world anymore. today's parents aspiration for their kids has created a hell of a vacuum to suck the society into false accounts of hope that someday their kids will become amazing genius and successful CEO when the realtiy of current economy is bleak and in the future all these nurtured geniuses will be enslaved by the system and institutionalised.

i don't want you to grow up into a population of boring, distracted and dispair due to lateral idea of perfection implanted by other parents. it is okay if you are not able to speak perfect english at six or nine, learning too is part of growing up and may you grow up beautifully to embrace the challenges and mastering the skills as you age.

the world now is in the hegemony of superficial afflictions, tyrant capilalism, waging wars over idealism and corrupted minds. we need to address inequality and disparities in education, economy, health and education to break the chain of occupational mind. the economic creation of inequality to serve and provide services to capitalism need to be replaced with unbias system and hollistic approaches.

and if we really are building societies with virtues and righteousness to make the world a bettwr place to live, we should introduce you to the neighbours and people with colors, to live in harmony and without prejudice, that we are one unity that should support and be kind to another. there are 60 million people being displaced due to wars, famine, economy, health and political reasons. the imbalances in socio-economy have created a lot of problems. many kids were denied education and health care for being un-documented. these kids will have to grow up uneducated, poor and sick. some may have to resort to criminal activities to survive. if we don't change and work to improve  the situation now, the problem will be vicious and prolong. the school of hard knocks is totally different than yours. perhaps, someday you will understand and look at this  world as a whole from your beautiful hearts with empathy.

i am terrified as any mothers out there, will my kids survive in this world of chaos and cut-throat culture.

as an academia and scientist, i fear that the current system is directing you to the  perfect storm of disappointment for being educated and broke with student loans, ties to corporations and institutions without decent pays or even hope of having own house. the perils of current system is - provisional entity of enslavementship.
fact that 2% of the world population own more than half the world's wealth and 500 millions children are living in poverty, famine and malnutrition poses the question, " what is the chance for the rest 6 billion of us to make out in this world".

i am sorry that my fellow friends always condemning young graduates demanding for better salaries and perks. perhaps, we the adults too need better understanding about inequalities and that keeping the minimum and average salaries down to splurge the economy and to attract foreign investments to the country is not sustainable and great for economy anymore. therefore,  we need to create our own ecosystem, hence this is industrial revolution 4.0.

my beautiful nieces and nephews,
may you will have the chance to explore the great things in life, love and getting your hearts broken, understanding the nature, live with kindness, discovering your passions, happiness and life purposes.

thank you for teaching and reminding me of how great childhood can be without having to fit into hyper abundant consumerist mindset.

so say we all,

love, your aunt,

makngah
