of life

dear daisy,

there is a saying that we spend the rest of our lives rewriting the first poem we ever loved.

star light star bright the first star i see tonight,

it has been a while, i was thinking about my current project with united nation environmental program - eco dynamics challenge - on the treatment of drinking water to remove pathogens and contaminants using moringa olifera extract. i had creative commons in mind too, in loving commemoration to aaron swartz - whom i had been closely reading about his gallant samaritan effort for free access to information to all. it is sad of how such nice, intelligent person was driven into fear, guilt and self doubt that led to his demise, some three years ago.

it is also with heavy heart for me to accept the fact that the professor, an esteemed colleague, mentor and a father figure to me in research has passed away early today 's evening.  may God bless his soul and place him among the beloveds in heaven.

good night daisy,
